For your Port Security Plan

PortGuard is ideally placed to offer a cost effective solution to any changes that Transport Canada implements. React to any changes needed in the Port Security Plan and provide additional training security guards may require.

In accordance with the Marine Transportation Security Regulations (Sec. 309,310 & 311), a port is required to conduct exercises and drills to test elements of the Port Security Plan.  PortGuard can plan, execute, and record exercises and drills, providing these records to the Marine Facility Security Officer.

DRILLS

PortGuard can help Marine Facility Security Officers (MFSOs) remain in compliance with the MTSRs by carrying out the required drills in relation to the individual facility security plan. 

We will plan, execute, and maintain a record of your drills, in addition to supplying you with a report for your own facility records, every 3 months or within 30 days of a facility re-starting operations.

Exercises

With these exercises PortGuard can help Marine Facility Security Officers (MFSOs) remain in compliance with the Marine Transportation Security Regulations (MTSRs).  Our exercise plans carry out requirement in relation to your individual facility security plan.

We will plan, execute, and maintain records of your exercises, in addition to supplying you with a report for your own facility records.

We will ensure you have at least one (1) exercise every calendar year with no more than 18 months between exercise.
